San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation that depends entirely on donations to sustain its operations. We appreciate every donation, no matter the amount. Every penny donated is used in some capacity to help feral and stray cats. All donations are fully tax-deductible.

General Donations

General donations are not restricted in how we use them. Most of the revenues collected through general donations go towards paying for spaying and neutering cats, veterinary expenses for sick cats that need to be treated before returning them to their feral colonies or for adoptable cats in foster care, and for producing education materials to benefit the public.

Spay-A-Stray Donations

We have established a special Spay-A-Stray fund to collect donations that are restricted to help fund special spay and neuter projects. These projects target especially problematic geographic areas in and around San Antonio where feral and stray cat populations are very high and people need assistance to spay and neuter feral cat colonies. Areas like these include apartment complexes, businesses, and neighborhoods where property owners need help to spay and neuter cats in large feral cat colonies. These projects typically entail a group of volunteers trapping a large quantity of cats in the colony, getting the cats spayed or neutered all at one time, and then returning the feral cats to the colony under the care of colony caretakers or removing adoptable cats and kittens and placing them into foster care until they can be adopted.
